E-Waste Management

According to the UN’s Global E-waste Monitor 2020, more than 53 million metric tons of electrical and electronic waste was generated worldwide in 2019. E-waste is posing a great threat to human health as well as the environment, so it’s time to take action before it’s too late.

The World Health Organization reports that exposure to certain chemicals used in electronics can lead to cancer, infertility, brain damage, and other lifelong health problems.

With the alarming rise in e-waste, and its harmful impact on our lives as well as the environment, e-waste management has become the need of the hour.

At ABHYUTHANAM, we understand the seriousness of this matter and envisage providing our clients with holistic management plans to ensure all their e-waste management needs and goals are fulfilled.

General Scheme of Collection

We ABHYUTHANAM being refurbisher of used electrical and electronic goods and dismantler of e-waste material, we always give priority to compliance with all the e-waste management norms and laws and follow all regulations amended time to time by government authorities related to e-waste management.

We plan to collect the e-waste of our products (sold in refurbished category) in the following ways:

• Buy Back Schemes: We offer to buy back the old and used product (e-waste) from our customers at fairly competitive prices.
• Cash Back Schemes: We offer to give cash back to the customers to encourage them to bring their old and used product (e-waste).
• Collection Centers/Points: We also offer our customers the option to directly send their used/EOL products to our collection centers. Our collection centre list is available on our website.
• E-Mails: We can create awareness among customers and help them to understand the importance of recycling used/end of life products through educational emails.

These are the ways in which we plan to bring back used products from our customers after the end of life.
