H/W Salvage Value Calculation

Through our IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) services, we enable companies to meet the compliances and help them get the best value of their assets. At ABHYUTHANAM, we evaluate all the material inventory and calculate the hardware salvage value. Salvage value is the estimated resale value of purchase at the end of its useful life. This value is subtracted from the cost of a fixed asset to determine the amount of the asset cost that will be depreciated.

Data Sanitization

As environmental stewards, our belief in protecting our customers' information through secure data destruction services is fundamental. All data destruction operations are carried out securely within our facility or at client premises. Operations included in this process are degaussing, shredding, disintegration and sanitization or overwriting. We also provide our customers with the option to witness the destruction of their media in person or through a secure live camera feed.

Data Degaussing Certificate

The degaussing technique exposes all the data stored in magnetic objects with a magnetic field of higher fluctuating intensity. Hence, we at ABHYUTHANAM, use the degausser (machine) to produce an intense magnetic field and once it exposes the data in magnetic objects, we reset all the data previously stored. Once degaussed, the media cannot be reused, and the device is safe to be recycled.
